I've started and grown design teams in industries ranging from fintech to restaurants, consumer marketplaces, and interior design. As a Design Director at Fidelity Labs, I cofounded and built a new 50-person business from the ground up. My team designed an equity compensation platform for some of the world’s most valuable companies and their shareholders. In 2024, my leadership efforts helped double our cross-functional team's productivity, while increasing ownership, creativity, and transparency.   

I grew up outside of Boston with a Czech family who was very influenced by children’s books, theater, and films. I started my career in the set design department for feature films, TV shows, and commercials. Working on the film Chicago, Rob Marshall taught me the importance of setting high standards, staying on budget, and assembling the right team. In the film industry, I learned great design comes with great research. I continue to use research methods to create transparency, inspire design, and articulate design decisions with key stakeholders.

Today, I partner with company leaders to ensure businesses are solving important customer needs and communicating an optimistic vision for our future. My sweet spot is new product innovation and taking businesses from 0 to 1. I’m excited about the potential for Design and AI to truly humanize, connect, and simplify technology.  My teams work end-to-end in the product design process, participating in everything from product strategy, through design execution.

Before Fidelity, I led major design initiatives at Toast where I helped scale our design team. At Google, I designed Google Photos and Google’s marketing site. At Eventbrite, I was the primary designer for their consumer business.

I am a graduate of Boston University and California College of the Arts.
